Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie (medium coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Small
William needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start? All dogs listed here are available for adoption from Yorkie Rescue Houston. Our goal is to ensure our rescued pets go to their forever home and never end up back in the system. To that end, an application is required on all potential adopters. Our adoption fee varies by dog. We accept electronic funds via VENMO or Paypal, or cash only. Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are available for Foster-to-Adopt only. A FTA contract is required.
William is an owner surrender who suffered from skin condition as a result of SEVERE Flea Dermatitis, poor quality food and high anxiety. William is not crate trained. He is not suited to be a companion to another animal. While he gets along with other dogs, he is not content to just be with them. He wants and needs more human attention. This boy is fully vetted, microchipped, HW tested (negative) and on prevention. Ongoing medical care to treat skin condition. Adopter should be prepared to keep William on flea preventative for the rest of his life, and treat occasional skin eruptions
