Molly needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start?

All dogs listed here are available for adoption from Yorkie Rescue Houston.  Our goal is to ensure our rescued pets go to their forever home and never end up back in the system.  To that end, an application is required on all potential adopters.   Our adoption fee varies by dog.  We accept electronic funds via VENMO or Paypal, or cash only.

Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are available for Foster-to-Adopt only.  A FTA contract is required.

Molly is an owner surrender.  She is HW + and owner could not afford to treat.  Molly was fed a diet of poor quality food resulting in skin allergies.

Proper diet, good medical care and some TLC and she will be great again.

Since Molly is in the middle of her heartworm treatment and not fully vetted, she is not available to adopt.   As a result, she must be placed in a 'foster to adopt' home.  This means, the rescue still maintains legal ownership of the dog and upon completing the heartworm treatment, we complete the adoption contract.

As a foster, you would be required to get the do to our vet (in Spring) for her Immiticide injections (the rescue pays for this).  If this is a problem your application cannot be approved.

This will be complete within 30 days of placement.  She will get her next injection at the end of May.

You may apply to adopt from us directly from our web site.  Please visit www.yorkierescuehouston.org/forms and submit your application.  Upon review, a volunteer will contact you if there are questions.  Please be as thorough as possible in the answering the questions.  Missing phone numbers, invalid addresses, or other inaccurate data will cause your application to be denied without further processing.

Should be you approved to 'foster-to-adopt' (FTA), you will be asked to execute a Foster Contract and submit ½ of the adoption fee.  (Our adoption fee is $450 and payable by cash only.)

We usually arrange our M&G at this Petsmart

Donations are accepted via paypal

Please be patient if our response time is not as quick as you'd like.  We are all volunteers and do as much as we can when we can.

Good luck, and thank you for considering adoption.
