Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie (long coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Small
Benji needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping him get a new start? All dogs listed here are available for adoption from Yorkie Rescue Houston. Our goal is to ensure our rescued pets go to their forever home and never end up back in the system. To that end, an application is required on all potential adopters. Our adoption fee varies by dog. We accept electronic funds via VENMO or Paypal, or cash only. Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are available for Foster-to-Adopt only. A FTA contract is required.
Benji is an owner surrender. He loves to cuddle under the blanket. He's scared during fireworks and thunderstorms. (me too!!) He is up-to-date on vaccinations and HW negative (on prevention) Recent dental (lost some teeth due to breaking them on a chew toy!) Gets along with large and small dogs as well as cats and children. Prefers women, (suspect a male abused him prior to coming to his former home) All adoptions are facilitated via an application/approval process. apply @ www.yorkierescuehouston.org/forms More about BenjiGood with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only, Good with Women Only, Good for Seniors/Elderly, Somewhat vocal, Does Good in the Car, Requires a yard, Leashtrained, Cratetrained, Likes to play with toys, Likes to be in your lap, Apartment OK, Playful, Affectionate, Eager To Please Yorkie Rescue Houston is a 501(c)(3) charity as defined by the I.R.S.
