Gracie2 needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start? All dogs listed here are available for adoption from Yorkie Rescue Houston. Our goal is to ensure our rescued pets go to their forever home and never end up back in the system. To that end, an application is required on all potential adopters. Our adoption fee varies by dog. We accept electronic funds via VENMO or Paypal, or cash only. Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are available for Foster-to-Adopt only. A FTA contract is required. deaf
Surrendered to a neighbor when her owners moved, the neighbors didn't want Gracie. So they tossed her in the backyard. Ya see, Gracie is deaf. So, she can't hear her high pitched bark/beg for attention. Rather than comfort her in her time of loss, they discarded her. She was eventually surrendered to Yorkie Rescue Houston and we are treating her for a heart murmur, and she had to have all of her teeth removed. Neglected and ignored, Gracie is now hoping to live out the rest of her life in comfort and kindness giving kisses and companionship to her forever mom/dad.
