All applications from 2023 have been purged. 

All dogs listed here are available for adoption from Yorkie Rescue Houston.  Our goal is to ensure our rescued pets go to their forever home and never end up back in the system.  To that end, an application is required on all potential adopters.   Our adoption fee varies by dog.  We accept electronic funds via VENMO or Paypal, or cash only.

Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are available for Foster-to-Adopt only.  A FTA contract is required.

**BONDED WITH BOBBY**

Bobby was born to Foxy and Mo. His parents were found abandoned in a crate next to an abandoned building, with their newborn puppies, and a good samaritan reached out to us for help! We said YES!  

Bobby, his brother Kenny, his sisters, and their parents, were brought into Yorkie Rescue Houston to be rehabiliated. Sadly, the female puppies did not make it, but Kenny and Bobby have made a full recovery. These two are inseparable bonded buddies - they need to go to a wonderful forever home that is looking to adopt a doggy duo! Both are sweet, playful, and happy puppies that will bring joy to your family. They are just delightful, adorable dogs.

They have done well potty training and are kennel trained. They do need some training walking on leash.

Bobby and Kenny had a rough start, but are looking for their happy ending. Will it be with your family? 

Since they are bonded, we will only be adopting them out together. Please be sure to submit an application with both of their names listed if you want to adopt!

Kenny and Bobby are fully vetted, including neuter, vaccines, microchip and deworming. They are ready to go! Take them home TODAY!

We usually arrange our M&G at this PetSmart. Donations are also accepted via PayPal.

Please be patient if our response time is not as quick as you'd like.  We are all volunteers and do as much as we can, when we can.

Public Service Announcement:
Effective Immediately - Due to limited resources, we will now hold FOUND (stray) dogs for 5 days. After that, they will be eligible for ADOPTION.

Please note that we have no shelter where our rescues can be viewed. All of our dogs are in private homes being fostered until they find their forever home. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application.

Please understand,

Yorkie Rescue Houston has no paid staff.  We are all volunteers.  We also have families, jobs and lives outside of rescue.  We do our best to communicate with our potential adopters, but please understand, we simply do not have the resources to contact every applicant personally.
