All dogs listed here are available for adoption from Yorkie Rescue Houston.  Our goal is to ensure our rescued pets go to their forever home and never end up back in the system.  To that end, an application is required on all potential adopters.   Our adoption fee varies by dog.  We accept electronic funds via VENMO or Paypal, or cash only.

Puppies too young to be spayed/neutered are available for Foster-to-Adopt only.  A FTA contract is required.

Update: Molly is the sweetest and most playful little girl. She will make a great best friend! She’s doing well with her potty training outside and also uses pad inside. She loves toys and chasing balls. That’s her love. Super affectionate. Loves cuddles and petting. I have not seen the hearing impairment or it may be mild. She responds to me when I call her. Definitely family friendly. She doesn’t mind my car but definitely a little too curious about the litter box. She’s a sweetheart!

Molly suffers from severe and chronic skin and ear infections.  Likely due to poor quality food and fleas.  She is 'the dominant one'

Effective Immediately - Due to limited resources, we will now hold FOUND (stray) dogs for 5 days. After that, they will be eligible for ADOPTION.

Please note that we have no shelter where our rescues can be viewed. All of our dogs are in private homes being fostered until they find their forever home. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an application.

Yorkie Rescue Houston has no paid staff.  We are all volunteers.  We also have families, jobs and lives outside of rescue.  We do our best to communicate with our potential adopters, but please understand, we simply do not have the resources to contact every applicant personally.
